October is Chicanx Latinx Heritage month, which rightfully brings forth a lot of pride and celebration. During this month, all people who identify as Latinx are encouraged to represent their unique and diverse identities, while remembering the history and struggles behind them.
With the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement rocking the world, the summer of 2020 has been far from conventional for Berkeley High School students.
There are around 250,000 undocumented immigrants living in the Bay Area. With the political tension surrounding the US government’s attitude towards undocumented people, programs like the Dreamers Project can have an immeasurable effect on young people.
