BAM: DJ Stuart's all time favorites

By Akhila Narayan, November 21st, 2025

“Harry Potter”

At the age of 11, Harry Potter discovers that he is a wizard. Throughout the seven-book series written by J.K. Rowling, accompanied by his two best friends Ron and Hermione, Harry embarks on many magical adventures which are all chillingly connected by the dark wizard, Voldemort, who killed his parents. These books are cultural phenomena, with an eight movie franchise and a new TV series remake expected to release in 2027.

“Thriller”

Released in 1982, Michael Jackson’s sixth studio album went on to be the best-selling album of all time and was Jackson’s first Billboard Hot LPs & Tapes topping album. The album featured tracks that are popular to this day such as the title track “Thriller” and “Billie Jean.” The album also managed, upon its release, to revive the record industry from a slump it had been suffering from 1980-1982.

“Deadpool”

Former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson becomes Deadpool after a clash with an evil scientist mutant. With a new regenerative healing factor but a newly scarred and disfigured face, Deadpool vengefully hunts the man who tortured him. Ryan Reynolds stars as “Deadpool,” a character that is made unique by his ability to break the fourth wall, sometimes calling out overused plot devices or using it to comically interrupt scenes.
