Don’t Worry Darling came out in 2022 among a flurry of drama. The cast has Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, Kiki Layne, Ari’el Stachel, Chris Pine, and Olivia Wilde.
2021’s “Dune” is a movie adaptation of the 181,493 word epic science fiction novel written by Frank Herbert in 1965. So it is no surprise that this two-and-a-half-hour movie was barely able to scratch the surface of this very dense story.
“Lady Bird” is a 2017 movie that has been called a feminist masterpiece. While I believe that the director, Greta Gerwig, created an excellent movie with strong feminist themes, the source of inspiration this movie draws from is often left out.
Jeffrey Dahmer: a convicted serial killer and sex offender. This man is a monster, yet he has been consistently sexualized by the media. The 2017 addition to the Jeffrey Dahmer franchise came in the form of “My Friend Dahmer,” inspired by a graphic novel of the same name.
