On March 7, 2024, Berkeley High School girls varsity lacrosse faced off against Dublin High School. This was the first time the team had played against Dublin in three seasons, so coach Jess Seggman was unsure of what to expect.

On Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, Berkeley High School boys soccer faced off against Bishop O’Dowd High School. This was a vital game for the team, as they had already lost to O’Dowd earlier in the season.

Girl’s wrestling is one of the fastest growing high school sports in the U.S. right now, and the Berkeley High School team is no exception. Last year, the team had seven girls who competed on the wrestling team, and this year there will be even more joining.

Berkeley High School’s Dance Production class has been working all semester on their final performance, which took place on April 28 and 29. The theme of the show was “Looking Back to Moving Forward”, and it included 10 pieces that ranged from hip-hop to interpretive dance.

On Wednesday, Nov. 30, girls varsity soccer had their first game of the season at Jacket Stadium against Pittsburg High School. It was a freezing cold night, but that did not slow them down.  The girls started off strong in the first half.

Signing ceremony celebrates BHS athletes

Wednesday, November 9, was National Signing Day, which marks the opening of the signing period for high school athletes across the country. Berkeley High School held a signing ceremony on November 9, where students who committed to colleges for  National Collegiate Athletic Association sports signed their National Letters of Intent.
