BHS Students face long travels, location changes, to take SAT

With a low availability of SAT exam spots in the Bay Area, many Berkeley High School students must take their SAT exam at far away testing locations. The Berkeley High School girls soccer team played against Piedmont on Feb. 9 for their senior night. The game ended in a tie, 0-0,  placing them second in their league.

On Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, the Berkeley High School wrestling team had their only home meet of the season in the Donahue Gym. The team fought against Tennyson and Hayward High School and claimed their ultimate victory, beating both schools.

This year, the Berkeley High Health Center began offering free fentanyl strips to Berkeley High School students, in collaboration with the Harm Education Reduction Organization.  HERO is a student-led organization that promotes harm reduction and aims to create a safe space for drug education through restorative justice rather then zero-tolerance.
