As the Berkeley High School girls tennis team stepped onto the court on Wednesday, October 6 for their match against San Leandro, they had a specific goal in mind: win four out of the seven matches.

As regular seasons wrap up, Berkeley High School spring sports teams prepare for postseason tournaments.  The BHS boys’ baseball team finished 2nd place in their league with a record of 18 wins and seven losses.

  On Wednesday, September 7, The Berkeley Unified School District School Board convened, discussing compensation for teachers writing recommendation letters, speech language pathologist assessment limits, the 2021-22 Unaudited Actuals, and the Milvia Street Project.  During the public comment section of the meeting, several teachers spoke about the need to either financially compensate teachers for
